Service Tech Alan
Alan has been with Burton and Sons for over 17 years. He is an avid fisherman and family man. He enjoys working with his hands and mind. In his position here, he also pleases customers with his special & technical skills.

Alan has completed 4 years of apprentice training and has had his Michigan Master Plumbing license for about 10 years now. Alan has received over 80 hours of safety training and over 200 hours of technical training on residential water heaters, commercial water heaters, tank-less water heaters, faucets, gas lines, disposers, and furnaces and boilers.
He is certified to work on all types of gas tubing and all types of Freon.
Alan is NATE Certified for:
- boilers and
- Air conditioning
Some of his favorite types of work are trouble shooting hot water boilers and other types of plumbing and heating jobs, especially those that present unique challenges.
Alan believes that every house should have a High-efficiency furnace to save money & natural resources and a comfort-height toilet
- Favorite food is his wife's chicken enchiladas.
- When watching TV, he turns on the sports channel and The Big Bang Theory.
- When not working he likes to fish for bass and pike, and he also raises tropical fish.
- One of Alan's most memorable moments was when his son, Greg, came to work with us, allowing him to pass on his wealth of knowledge.
